KB No. 14: Examples of awareness pages

What is an awareness page?

When a user attempts to view a website that they are not authorized to access, they are redirected to an awareness page.

These awareness pages can be contextualized according to your filtering policy. The goal here is to explain, raise awareness, and reduce user frustration when faced with a blocking situation.

It should be noted that these pages may contribute to the implementation of cyber risk awareness measures that public or private entities must implement under the NIS 2 directive, or as recommended by the ANSSI IT security guide.

Below are examples of settings for awareness pages based on themes and/or categories from the Olfeo database. To configure these settings, please refer to our online documentation.

Safety risk awareness

Awareness message displayed in case of blocking:
