Based on heuristic analysis and filtering techniques using signatures, the Olfeo antivirus analyzes all Web content: URLs, application streams, and files (compressed files, office automation documents, etc.).

Olfeo also manages a reputation database dedicated to preventing attacks. The Olfeo antivirus detects all types of threats: viruses, worms, spyware, phishing, rootkits, keyloggers, etc.—as well as mobile code such as Active X and Java.
